The Flexmonster Pivot Table & Charts Component allows developers to easily create pivot tables and pivot charts.
Pivot tables are advanced tables where users can interact with the table's data, just like in a datagrid component, but they can make columns and rows sticky, sort and filter the date, or turn rows and columns off, based on the data they need to view and analyze.
Pivot tables usually handle complex and very large data, and are a mainstay component in any financial analysis Web app.
The Flexmonster Pivot Table & Charts Component is a commercial component that eases the process of building such tables, with the added feature of being able to convert any pivot table's data into beautiful interactive charts.
What is new in this release:
- Classic (not-grouped) view or Classic mode - widespread way of pivoted data presentation. Classic view helps end users see hierarchies one beside another - just like they are accustomed to in Excel;
- Drill-through - clicking on a cell gives user an outstanding opportunity to dig deeper into data and see its constituents;
- Editing cells for CSV data sources - lets end user change values in the grid on-the-fly;
- Drag and drop fields on the grid - changing filters/columns/rows location on the grid without opening field list (configurator);

- Also improved displaying OCSV format (optimized CSV) data in flat table. Rounding of decimal values is replaced with displaying all necessary values after separator
- UTF-8 support in PDF export
- HTML headers/footers support in PDF and HTML export
- Showing filters in Excel export: use showFiltersExcel option
- Filter & fields list become resizable
- Fields list: target box has become scrollable when dragging item to bottom or top
- Text aligning is now available via setFormat() API call by using new textAlign parameter in FormatValueObject property
