Solitaire Highscore is a little program that will help you manage your MS Solitaire highscores.

When run, it will show only in the system tray:

The first run of Solitaire Highscore will run a scan on MS Solitaire. It will inform you of the scan and its result.

For the first run scan, make sure MS Solitaire is not running. Please wait until the scan is finished.

If the scan fails please contact Support. You can scan again by clicking That is not my score.

If the scan succeeds you can start using Solitaire Highscore:

Make sure that you don’t open MS Solitaire through a shortcut but let Solitaire Highscore start it.

Solitaire Highscore starts MS Solitaire by default when it starts. You can change this option through the

Settings menu item. If you do, make sure that you start MS Solitaire through the Solitaire Highscore popup menu.

NOTE:

If you insist on using the MS Solitaire shortcut (for example the one on the Start menu) you will have to scan

MS Solitaire again and keep starting MS Solitaire through the same shortcut.

Double clicking on the icon will check for highscore. To see more information about checking for highscore

NOTE:

Solitaire Highscore checks for score and not for time. You can change the type of your

MS Solitaire game through the MS Solitaire menu: Game->Options…

Right clicking on the Solitaire Highscore icon will open a popup menu:

1. Check Highscore

Solitaire Highscore will check to see if the current Solitaire score is a highscore. Solitaire must be running. If it isn’t then

You’ll receive a message. If the current score is a highscore, the highscore window will open:

If the current score is not a highscore you’ll receive a message.

Only scores above 0 can qualify as highscores. You can check for a highscore at anytime.

· Load – If you mark a highscore entry and click load, the score of that entry will be loaded to MS Solitaire.

· Delete – Delete the highscore entry.

· Clear All – Delete all highscore entries.

· Close – Close the highscore window.

2. Show scores

Show the highscore window. For more information on the highscore window see Check Highscore.

3. Start Solitaire

Start MS Solitaire now.

4. That is not my score

Solitaire Highscore checks MS Solitaire memory at runtime. It is possible that the location of the score will change when

run on different computers. If the current MS Solitaire score is a highscore but Solitaire Highscore shows a different value,

follow these steps:

1. Close MS Solitaire.

3. Click “That is not my score…” (on Solitaire Highscore menu).

4. Select “OK” to start the scan and wait to see if Solitaire Highscore can find the location of the score.

Solitaire Highscore lets you change the following settings:

· Player name – Set the name for the future highscore entries.

· Windows startup – Start Solitaire Highscore when Windows starts (for the current Windows user).

· Start Solitaire when I start – Start MS Solitaire when Solitaire Highscore is started.

Close Solitaire Highscore.

Open this help document. The location of this document should be next to the application executable file

SolitaireHighscore.exe.
