Version 3.6.2: Release Date 2007-11-20
- Fixed interface drawing issues when background pictures are present.
Version 3.6.1: Release Date 2007-11-16
- Changed the way fonts are accounted for to help prevent
fonts from changing unexpectedly.
Version 3.6.0: Release Date 2007-06-11
- Made a few minor cosmetic changes.
- Ampersands should now show up correctly.
- Added the option of using a brushed metal window on Mac OS X.
- Added an option to HTML exports, that allows the current day to be highlighted.
- Added the ability to export month events as text file.
- Added the ability to read all information for a date through the main window.
- Adjusted the sensitivity of the change month arrows for better control.
- This release moves the "users" folder to the documents folder on the Mac OS and the
My Documents folder on Windows.
- Users are now called Calendars.
Version 3.5.5: Release Date 2006-01-23

- The calendar now only uses as many rows as it needs to save
space. There is no longer an empty row on some months.

- Fixed minor bug in which exporting to a PICT would cut off
the bottom and right lines of the calendar.
- Took upper limit restrictions off of window resizing.
- Though I couldn't reproduce it myself, I added a routine
that hopefully makes sure the background is white while printing if
no background picture or color has been chosen.

Version 3.2.9: Release Date 2002-07-17
- When you export a calendar as a PICT the month's name and
year are included in the top of the picture.
- Fiddled with the background picture routine.
Version 3.2.7: Release Date 2002-03-14
- Fixed Bug in which the calendar window would not properly
update itself when opening a manually save file.
- Fixed Bug in which double clicking on a saved file or
dragging it to the application's icon in the Finder would crash the
program right after it had launched.
- Fixed Bug where the Quit button would appear in the Change
User Window where the Cancel button should appear in certain
situations.
Version 3.2.5: Release Date 2002-02-22
- Fixed bug where when using the Edit Special Window to add
info it would be added the day before the date assigned by the
user.
- Fixed bug where cut/copy/paste didn't work in the Edit Info
Window.
- Fixed bug where if you chose Change User from the File menu
and later canceled your window size, font, and font size were
reset.
- Fixed cosmetic bug in which resizing the window would cause
the window outline to drop further than where the user had the
mouse.
- Added a Zoom Box to the Calendar Window title bar.
- Changed the name of the "Options" to the more standard
"Preferences" and relocated the menu item to the File menu. (On OS X
it is under the "Mom's Calendar" menu)
- Changed the way automatic deletion of old files worked
slightly.
- Added the ability to change the color of the grid lines and
the backcolor.
- Added the ability to change the color of day headers and all
the date squares.
- Added the ability to set the calendar background as a
picture (with some restrictions, see documentation).

- Tweaked and improved the print routine to eliminate memory
errors, that cause the program to quit, when printing.
Version 3.1.4: Release Date 2002-01-07
- Added ability to adjust the window size and the option for
the program to remember the window size.
- Added ability to change font and font size of the dates and
also have those remembered.
- Added preference to allow older auto-save files to be
automatically deleted.
- Due to the ability to change window size the print routine
has been modified so that the calendar can be sized to fit the paper.
Printing may take a bit longer now and the minimum memory allocation
has been raised slightly for OS 9. (I suggest getting the ppc version
if you have OS 8/9 and the carbon version for 10.1 and above)
- Some minor tweaks and adjustments.
Version 3.0.7: Release Date 2001-10-10
- Mom's Calendar now has been Carbonized for use with MacOS X
10.1 and above.
- Fixed bug in which text added through the Edit Special
Window would sometimes cause a return to appear before text when
shown in the Edit Info Window.
- Auto-save feature is now properly invoked when using the
arrow keys to change months.
- Arrow keys now change months beyond just the current
year.
- Changed the Edit Special Dialog to allow for more
flexibility in choosing the frequency of repeated info.
Version 3.0.2: Release Date 2001-09-26
- In haste fixing one mistake I caused another in which a date
with return characters would only show the first line is now
fixed.
- Added the ability to change the month with the arrow
keys.
Version 3.0.1: Release Date 2001-09-18
- Fixed mistake I made right before compiling 3.0.0 which
resulted in text not wrapping properly (A zero was supposed to be a
3)
- The clear date button should now clear colors correctly.
Version 3.0.0: Release Date 2001-09-09
- Rewrote the internal part of the program (Same car, new
engine) because the original was coded a bit sloppy. This should make
the program's results much more stable. (85-90% of the code is
new)
- Most notable the Save and Open routines have been changed to
provide more stable results when opening saved files.
- When opening a file manually it will be opened in a
protected area so that a person's auto-save files aren't accidentally
overwritten.
- Added the ability for users to edit colors to their taste
and to name them also.
- Removed the Holiday Menu because I don't have the patience
to finish it at this time.
- The old Open routine was included in the program to provide
compatibility with old versions of Mom's Calendar.
Version 2.6.0: Release Date 2001-07-09
- Fixed bug concerning phantom flags.
- Added auto-save feature so you do not have to save when
changing months or before quitting.
- Added users to the program so multiple people can use Mom's
Calendar and take advantage of the auto-save feature.
- In the Edit Date Info dialog the insertion point is now at
the end of any text in the info field.
- Some minor fixes and optimizations.
Version 2.4.7:
- Fixed bug concerning flags staying (not disappearing) even
when you changed months.
- Fixed bug concerning opening saved files and having them
visually okay but when you tried to double click on a date you get
strange results.
- In the Change Month dialog the month field is now
highlighted when it has focus so that you can change the month
without having to manually highlight or delete the number. The same
is true for the year.
- P.S. Sorry for the frequent updates, and keep sending me bug
reports and suggestions.
Version 2.4.3:
- Fixed more bugs concerning stray return characters causing
files not to be saved in a format that could properly be opened
again.
- Updated Flag capability so if you double click on a flagged
square the Edit Date Info window will now reflect that. This saves
you from having to reclick the flag checkbox over and over. It also
saves you from having to remember what color you had a date square.
- Added a new submenu item under the Edit menu. This is used
to control what color is used if you flag a date square from the
contextual menu (control click).
- Reordered some of the contextual menu items (moved Flag and
Deflag to the top.
- Double Clicking on a saved file now opens the saved file not
just launch the application.
- Some internal tweaking and minor fixes
Version 2.3.8:
- Fixed bug where if any date field ended with one or more
return characters the file would not be saved properly and would
display incorrectly when opened again.
- Fixed the Edit Special dialog so that it is only possible
to choose one choice.
- Fixed the edit field in the Edit Special dialog so that it
can now accept multiple lines.
- Added the ability to flag dates with colors red, green,
blue, and yellow.
Version 2.2.3:
- The initial public release.
- Added a test menu that can add in holidays. This feature is
for testing only and is not finished.
