Control multiple jobs

You can use an unlimited number of job list windows in JobTimer. Each of these windows can keep an unlimited number of jobs. So you might decide to spread different projects to different job lists and control various parts of a project in different jobs.

  1. Click on the button New job in the appropriate job list window (blue Plus symbol).
Alternatively, select the entry New job in the Time Registration menu.
  2. Enter a sensible name for this job.

You can combine a couple of jobs (e.g. those assigned to one customer) to a job group. The mentioned time and wage then refer to all jobs in this group.

  1. Click on the button New group in the appropriate job list window (blue Plus symbol with folder symbol).
Alternatively, select the entry New group in the Time Registration menu.
  2. Enter a sensible name for this group.

You can control one job per job list at a time. A new job will always become the current job, too (represented in bold letters in the window with a blue dot in the Job symbol), i.e. the time registration is always started for the current job. If you rather want to start the time registration for another job, select it first by clicking on its name in the job list window.

By double clicking on a job you can change both the job name and the wage rate entry.

The bottom border of the job list window shows the total time for all jobs in this job list window.
